The Sveriges Ingenjörer is an exclusive service and professional organisation for Sweden's graduate engineers and student members at the six technical universities and institutes.
The three central tasks of the Sveriges Ingenjörer are :
- To negotiate members' salaries and conditions of employment
- To uphold the significance of technology and of graduate engineers in society
- To work towards higher quality in advanced technical education.
Sveriges Ingenjörer is one of the parties that negotiates and concludes collective agreements on behalf of its members in all sectors of the Swedish labour market. It is the biggest organisation within SACO (the Swedish Confederations of Professional Associations).
